YUM

I must share a very YUMMY cookie recipe that I discovered this holiday season.

Dreamsickle Cookies

1/2 cps brown sugar * 1 tsp baking soda*
3/4 cp shortening *1 1/2 tsp baking powder*
2 eggs *3 cps all-purpose flour*
1 tsp vanilla extract *1/2 tsp salt*
1/2 cp buttermilk* 1 tsp butter or margarine*
1 cp white chocolate chips*
3 TBSP Tang, orange breakfast drink mix *White frosting

Preheat oven to 375F. Lightly grease baking sheets. Cream the shortening and the sugar together until light. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Dissolve the baking soda in the buttermilk. Add the buttermilk mixture, salt, 3 TBSP Tang, flour ad baking powder to the shortening mixture. Mix well. Stir in the white chocolate chips. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto the prepared sheets. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes. Frost when cooled.
Frosting- Mix 3 TBSP Tang with the white frosting.
Makes 4 dozen.

i don't usually like the dreamsicle flavor, but the white chocolate chips in this recipe have me interested! sounds yummy.

I had a little sampling of these cookies, and man are they good! I can totally see them as a "summer" cookie with a big old glass of iced tea. They were light and yummy!
